The mission of Youth Services Network is to develop, provide and coordinate services to improve the physical, developmental, psychological and social well-being of children, young adults and families. All services are trauma-informed, strength-based, and provided in the community. Children, adolescents and their families are eligible for services. YSN is a state–licensed Child Welfare Agency which has been in existence since 1982.

Services Offered by YSN Staff

YSN addresses issues by providing psychotherapy, counseling, play therapy, case management, employment training, tutoring, mentoring, recreation, life skills training, and Wraparound facilitation. All staff are trained in trauma treatments, cultural diversity, and program-specific requirements.

Families in Need

We focus on the strengths of our families while working with them on their concerns with mental health, trauma, homelessness, education and unemployment. Our purpose is to holistically treat each family member as they move toward their goals of self-sufficiency and self-efficacy.

Children in Need

A majority of children involved with YSN have experienced trauma. Trauma can include neglect, physical abuse, sexual abuse, bullying, loss of a loved one, domestic violence and community violence. Building on our children’s strengths, while reducing their trauma symptoms aids in their trauma recovery and in their personal growth.
